Exclusively for Circle Donors and Above

MCA Circle Donors are invited to a special preview of Takashi Murakami: The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg.

The MCA is proud to present a major retrospective of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami (b. 1962), who has blurred the boundaries throughout his career between high and low culture, ancient and modern, East and West. The exhibition features 50 paintings by Murakami that span three decades of his career, beginning with the artist’s earliest mature works.

Be the very first to view the exhibition while enjoying a refreshing beverage and light breakfast. Refreshments will be available for Circle Donors through 11:30 am, with remarks by Pritzker Director Madeleine Grynsztejn at 11 am. MCA VIP Preview Day continues until 5 pm, with the exhibition open to all members.
