Join a drop-in experience designed by Fempowerment, a youth-led, city-wide, intersectional feminist organization that works to engage Chicago teens through discussion, fundraising, and direct action.

You are invited to:

  • Take a self-guided tour of the Prisoner of Love exhibition using a zine of reflection questions and prompts created by Fempowerment members.

  • Have a conversation about how images of violence and transcendence are a hallmark of Arthur Jafa’s film Love Is The Message, The Message Is Death and of our daily lives on the internet.

  • Look closely at your social media with a Fempowerment member and think about how your political beliefs are reflected in what you see in your feed.

Youth-led events are organized by Grace Needlman, Manager of Youth and Family Programs.
