Guests will receive a limited-edition porcelain plate inspired by Chicago's 1971 work Sky Sun, created in collaboration with Prospect NY specifically for MCA's Visionary Luncheon. Following the event, the plate will be available for purchase at the MCA Store.

The MCA Visionary luncheon proudly welcomes speaker Judy Chicago to share her experiences as a pioneer of feminist art and art education. For over five decades, Judy Chicago has remained steadfast in her commitment to the power of art as a vehicle for intellectual transformation and social change. Through prodigious art-making, authorship, and advocacy, she continues to fight for women’s right to engage in the highest level of art production. Join us for an exclusive, intimate conversation with this Chicago-born art world icon.

Proceeds of the Visionary luncheon support the MCA Women’s Board’s commitment to learning and public programs at the museum. The MCA provides dynamic programs and learning opportunities for our visitors, establishing a model for how contemporary museums engage audiences of all ages in thoughtful and timely conversation.

We are pleased to announce that all guests of the Visionary luncheon will receive a limited edition plate featuring Judy Chicago’s work Sky Sun from the Flesh Gardens series (1971) as an exclusive gift.
