Founded in 2003 by artists Adam Brooks and Mathew Wilson, Industry of the Ordinary engages in politically oriented projects, typically enacted in public settings. As the name of the two-man collective suggests, its performances and interventions examine the intersection of the mundane, the ridiculous, and the sublime in a provocative, deadpan, and workmanlike fashion.
