Tuesdays & The Ladies Almanack

blog intro

With autumn officially here and Tuesdays on the Terrace over, the cooler weather brings our happenings indoors with special artist programs during Tuesday evenings at the MCA. Kicking off this year’s season is a free preview screening of The Ladies Almanack, Daviel Shy’s feature-length film. Based on the novel of the same name, the film is a tribute to women’s writing in 1920s Paris, told through the friendships, jealousies, and publishing difficulties of authors and artists during that era. The screening caps off "Almanack Week," a series of events that featured panels, parties, and lectures.

From avant-garde cello compositions, to “The Official Unofficial Voting Station,” see what else is coming up on Tuesdays at the MCA.
